EasyNet allows you to control your printers & print files in the entire enterprise network from a single system regardless of whether the printer is directly attached to the network or to a remote Unix system.
EasyNet, a utility of EasySpooler will communicate across a TCP/IP network to another UNIX system running EasySpooler, or to any system that supports the Berkeley LPD/LPR network spool protocol. This means that EasyNet allows access to non UNIX networks such as Novell.

Your users can easily send a print job to any printer. The printer could well be at a remote location directly attached to a Unix system running LPR/LPD or EasySpooler or attached a to print server.

EasySpooler can dynamically update the status of printers and print files. There is no need for the operators to re-invoke Easyspooler just to find out the status.
